Frequently Asked Questions

What space do I need for my hot tub?

You need to allow 2m for the hot tub; this should be flat, solid ground such as grass, patio or decking. Decking should be in good condition. Please note that installation on decking is done so at your own risk. We provide mats beneath the hot tubs but not around the tub.

The space designated for the tub should be cleared before we arrive; this also includes access routes too. Furniture, bicycles, toys, wheelie bins and any other objects should be removed before installation.

Do you offer Gazebo Hire?

Gazebos are available to hire at an additional cost of £30. We use 3m x 3m heavy duty gazebos and they are the canopy style only. We request that you measure your available space before booking a gazebo please. If you are using your own gazebo, we request that this is set up before the tub is installed if possible. We reserve the right to cancel a gazebo booking at the last minute should extremely strong winds be forecast as this can cause damage to the gazebo, hot tub and/or surrounding structures, should it blow away.

What power do I need?

Power is required for the duration of the hot tub hire. This can be from an outside socket or via an outdoor extension lead into the house. The extension lead must be supplied by us.

Does someone need to be there whilst the tub is being installed?

Someone needs to be at the house to meet us, show us where the tub is to be installed and give us access to power and water. We will provide a short training session to this person. Ideally this person should be a permanent resident of the house and someone that will be using the hot tub. Once we leave, at a certain point the pump needs to be switched on and the water turned off, so this person needs to be around for at least two hours. Asking friends or family to accept the hire on your behalf is not always ideal as the training is sometimes not adequately transferred.

How do you fill the tub?

The tubs are filled either from a cold water tap or hot water feed.

Cold: As the tubs take approximately 24-30 hours to heat up, installation is always in advance of use. The heating time is not included in the hire period and you are not charged for this. If you have a hose, please have this ready and available for our arrival. If you have booked a cold fill we regret that this cannot be changed to a hot fill on our arrival without prior notice.

Hot: If you have constant hot water from a combi boiler and a mixer tap the hot tub can be installed on the first day of use so installing in advance is not required. For this option we need to see a photo of your hot tap at the time of booking to ensure that there are adapters available to fit the tap. The hot tap can be outdoor or an inside kitchen tap. If you have a hose, please have this ready and available for our arrival. Please note that hot water installations are not always available during the summer months due to the glamping season being in full swing (the other side of our business). If you would like this option, please check with us when booking.

How is the hot tub emptied?

Some companies will ask you to empty the hot tub at the end of your hire period - we don't!

We empty the tub on collection - it's all part of the service and included in the price!

Is it 3 nights hire or 3 days hire?

Our hot tub hire is based on usable ‘nights’ not days. We have many installations and collections to carry out and these are scheduled based on the location of our tubs that day. As an example, if we install at 2pm it doesn’t follow that we will collect at 2pm as the hire is not based on a 24 hour period. Collection will be anytime from 9.00 on your pick-up day and we will always notify you in advance of your collection time slot. If you do have a special request regarding timings please don’t hesitate to ask - we endeavour to be as flexible as possible but we regret that we can’t always meet your requirements.

What is included in the hot tub hire?

Once you have confirmed your hot tub hire booking, we will contact you several days in advance of the installation to provide you with a two hour time slot. We try our very best to arrive within this time frame but occasionally we are held up through no fault of our own. Should this happen we will always text or call to let you know our new estimated time of arrival. We will install the hot tub, begin to fill it with water and provide a short training session. We will show you how to operate the hot tub, how to test the water and top up the chemicals and how to clean the filter. You will be left with sufficient test strips, chemicals and filters to ensure safe bathing in your hot tub. In addition, we will send a full set of care and maintenance information via email.

We will be on-call for the duration of your hire period; if your problem cannot be fixed over the telephone we will come out to you free of charge* (*charges may apply if the fault is not with the hot tub).

Do I need to check the water chemicals during my hot tub hire?

When you hire a hot tub, you get training on how to maintain the water balance and you are supplied with all the chemicals and testing equipment for the duration of your hire. We recommend that you test the water every day during your hire and top up water and chemicals as required. If you have any issues with the water during your hire contact us immediately and we will fix it for you.

Difficult or limited access?

If you are looking to hire a hot tub but have difficult or limited access do not worry. We can manoeuvre our equipment through some difficult areas. However, please ensure that the path is wide enough and there is sufficient space to get round the corners or through the doors and gateways before booking.

Parking is required to enable us to off-load the equipment.

We ask you to keep driveways clear please and if we need to park on the road, please endeavour to ensure that we can park as close to the house as possible.

Access is ideally via a rear or side entrance but we can come through the house with advanced warning at the time of booking.

Our hot tubs are all the inflatable kind and are set-up in the garden on arrival.

Looking for a longer hire?

Are 3 nights not long enough? You can extend the hire period for up to 7 nights, subject to availability, at the cost of £20 per night.
